Rate limits and performance¶

Comet limits the number of model downloads. Rate limits are based on individual account and model versions.

Paid accounts:

• 5000 daily downloads for an individual account
• 5000 daily download for an individual model version

Free accounts:

• 1000 daily downloads for an individual account
• 1000 daily download for an individual model version

In addition Comet limits download rate to 20 models/sec. When the limit has been reached Comet will return a 429 HTTP error code for the download method both from SDK and REST endpoints.
