This week we&#8217;re covering Session 7 of our new series. This session took place Feb. 16th, 2022 and we were joined by Dhruv Nair and Michael Cullan, both of Comet. Host Harpreet Sahota gave a quick overview of what we&#8217;ve learned in the series so far with a focus on the iterative nature of machine learning and how that lifecycle needs reproducibility to shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating a common tracking system, such as using Excel sheets, GitHub, or Comet, will help you to create the best models possible and quickly iterate or change them when needed. Using the Hacker News dataset, they&#8217;re building a model to predict the performance of a Hacker News post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final few clips of the working sessions will be available soon, but there was a lesson in reproducibility as both Dhruv and Michael are working with the same data set and same project goal, but their approaches to this project are slightly different.
