Jo\u00e3o is the CEO of CrewAI, with over 20 years of experience with Software Engineering, previously, as Director of AI Engineering at Clearbit, he transformed AI into a core profit driver, growing a thriving user base and spearheading advancements in large-scale vector databases. Jo\u00e3o also founded Urdog, an IoT startup, where he developed a smart collar for dogs and managed all aspects of the business. With extensive experience in engineering leadership roles at Toptal and Packlane, he specializes in building high-performing teams and implementing scalable AI and machine learning solutions.
